Reservation Terms

Bookings, waitlists, deposits, and no-shows

Confirmations

A booking request is not guaranteed until the Restaurant confirms it through Smart Dining or its configured rules. You are responsible for arriving on time with an accurate party size.

Contact information must be current so the venue can reach you about delays, closures, or ID requirements.

Changes and cancellations

Restaurants set cut-off times for free cancellation, late changes, and fees. Those rules are displayed before you confirm and may vary by day, party size, or holiday.

Smart Dining transmits your change or cancellation to the Restaurant; we do not override a venue’s capacity rules or staffing decisions.

Deposits and holds

Card authorizations, deposits, or prepayments secure high-demand tables. If you comply with the venue’s policy, holds are released or applied according to processor timelines.

If you breach the cancellation or no-show policy you approved, the Restaurant may capture all or part of the deposit as disclosed at booking.

No-shows and late arrivals

A no-show may occur if you do not arrive within the grace period the Restaurant defines. Fees may apply and tables may be released to other guests.

Repeated no-shows may lead Restaurants or Smart Dining to require prepayment or restrict future bookings.

Restaurant-controlled availability

Hours, table turns, patio seating, and large-party policies are controlled by the Restaurant. Smart Dining displays information supplied by the venue and is not responsible for last-minute closures due to emergencies, licensing issues, or weather.
