Acceptable Use Policy

Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy supplements the Terms of Service. It sets expectations for how you may use Smart Dining’s guest Services and helps protect restaurants, guests, and platform integrity.

Prohibited conduct

Illegal activity: no use of the Services to violate criminal, export, sanctions, or anti-discrimination laws.

Harm and harassment: no threats, hate speech, stalking, or abuse directed at restaurants, staff, or other guests.

Fraud and abuse: no payment testing with stolen cards, refund abuse, promotion stacking schemes, fake identities, or impersonation of Smart Dining or a Restaurant.

Interference: no scraping, automated account creation, credential stuffing, or attempts to bypass rate limits, except through documented APIs we authorize.

Intellectual property: do not upload content you do not have rights to use; respect trademarks and copyrights of restaurants and third parties.

Reviews and ratings: no incentives for dishonest reviews, no coordinated inauthentic behavior, and no posting of private or sensitive information about individuals.

Monitoring and enforcement

We may use automated and human review to detect violations. Actions may include removing content, suspending accounts, withholding promotions, or cooperating with law enforcement when legally required.

Restaurants may also report misuse; we evaluate reports under this Policy and our Community Guidelines.
