Types of stored value

Gift cards, promotional credits, or wallet balances may be issued by Smart Dining, a Restaurant, or partners. Each instrument is governed by the terms shown at purchase and by applicable gift-card and consumer laws.

Unless prohibited, promotional credits may expire; purchased value typically follows statutory minimums (for example, no short-dated expiration for many U.S. jurisdictions).

Redemption

Stored value may be limited to specific venues or menu categories. You cannot reload or cash out except where required by law.

Lost or stolen codes may not be replaced unless we can verify purchase and applicable law requires replacement.

Unclaimed property

Escheat rules may require us or Restaurants to remit dormant balances to government unclaimed-property programs after statutory dormancy periods.
