AI, Automation & Recommendations Notice

How models may affect your experience

What we automate

Smart Dining may use rules engines, machine learning models, or third-party AI services to rank search results, suggest restaurants or dishes, estimate wait times, detect fraud, triage support tickets, or draft optional text suggestions for Restaurants.

Outputs are probabilistic and may be imperfect. Restaurants remain responsible for accurate menus, pricing, and allergen information regardless of suggestions shown in tools they use.

Human oversight

We design processes so consequential decisions—such as account termination for suspected fraud—involve human review where appropriate. Purely automated fraud blocks may occur in real time; you may appeal through support channels.

Data use for modeling

We may use aggregated or de-identified data to train and evaluate models. Where personal data is used, we apply minimization, contractual limits on subprocessors, and regional restrictions where required.

No professional advice

Recommendations are informational, not medical, legal, or dietary advice. For allergy or health conditions, consult professionals and speak directly with the Restaurant.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Smart Dining is not liable for losses arising solely from automated ranking or suggestions; see limitations in the Terms of Service.
